Further, it has also seen that more than 55,900 people attended the final session of this game every year and not only this; it becomes popular day by day because of a variety of athletic and swimming events. The social, cultural and psychological benefits are very significant which makes this sport more than an event and more than a game. It is the most exciting sports festival of Australia which connects people from all over the world in an exclusive way (Bajracharya et al. 2015). Through this game, social bonds are strengthening, friendships are created amongst different people, everyone feels emotionally alive, and civil pride is enriched. It allows people to reflect on democratic traditions by highlighting the cultural heritage and magnificent achievements made by past athletics. This research proposal is carried out to evaluate the societal as well as economic benefits of Gold Cost ruby league. Research Aim The research study will be conducted to conceptualise sports tourism in the context of its population, dimensions and activity. The major aim of this research study is to highlight the socio economic benefits of sports tourism. In addition, through this research study, it will be easy to understand the ways of the gold coast to attract tourists from different countries through sports. Research Objectives: The research objectives of this research proposal are as follows To perform a social cost-benefit analysis of Gold Coast rugby league; To evaluate the economic cost-benefit analysis of Gold Coast rugby league; and To recommend strategy to enhance the socio-economic benefits from Gold Coast rugby league; Data Requirements: Data will be collected from secondary resources such as online and offline articles, journals, books and others valid sources. These data will be collected to get relevant information which can help to understand socio-economic benefits of Gold Coast rugby league to gain future benefits. Proposed Research Methods: Inductive approach along with explanatory design will be taken into consideration to analyse the reasons of each event and its impacts with theoretical knowledge and practical applications (Dedekorkut-Howes and Bosman 2015). Quantitative analysis technique will be adopted to analyse the collected information from various resources to channelize them perfectly inside the research work.
